How to Play Blackjack

Blackjack or "21" is a card game where players are dealt two cards face down and the dealer is dealt one card face up and the other down. Blackjack players then decide whether to stay with their cards or "hit" and the dealer will give deal them additional cards.

The point of the game is to get as close to "21" without going over. When a player stays it is the dealers turn. The dealer has specific rules and basic rules are the dealer will hit if under 17 and stay with anything above. If the players cards are higher then the dealer then it's a win for the player (or if the dealer goes over 21). If the cards values are the same then it is a "push" and no money is exchanged. The dealer wins when a player has a lower card total or if the player goes over 21.

Blackjack Card Value:

Cards 2-10 - Their face value.

Face Cards (J-K) - 10

Ace - 1 or 11
